One of Chandigarh’s popular shopping destination has got itself a new store, that too an all-for-women one. ‘Project Eve’, true to its name, is a concept store that offers in-trend and stylish clothes for women in the age group of 25 to 40 years. A new brand by Reliance Retail, the plush store in Elante Mall was officially set rolling by leading Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa last week.
The occasion also saw Bajwa, dressed in a steel grey pant-suit paired with a blush pink top, lead the way for a mini fashion show. The models wore the season’s latest collection by the brand.
We loved the look of the store that’s very elegantly designed. The pleasing ambience apart, ‘Project Eve’ offers a well curated selection of both Western wear as well as Indian and Indo-Western styles. The emphasis is on the modern woman and what she would like to wear to work as well as party in.
We also noticed a good selection of brands like Label by Ritu Kumar and ‘ONLY’ on the shelves. What’s more, you can also avail the services of a personal stylist. The trial rooms are plush and a far cry from those cramped and ill-ventilated ones. It’s very considerate of them to have a high table in each trial room where you can place your handbag, sunglasses etc. We also found the staff helpful and eager to offer suggestions. They even do a natty job packing your clothes in butter paper post the purchase.
If you are confused about trends, look out for the mannequins and moodboards on the walls for styling tips. The store also offers a range of accessories including shoes, handbags and costume jewellery. On the flip side, pricing is a tad steep. A knee-length cotton dress will set you back by Rs 1799 while a formal shirt can cost as much as Rs 2,500. Currently, there’s a promotional discount also on.
